Is Increment an AI calendar?
It decides when your work happens, which is the part people mean. The scheduler weighs deadlines, durations, urgency, dependencies, which hours each task is allowed to use and everything already fixed in your week, then places the work and re-places all of it when something moves.
What it is not is a chatbot attached to a calendar. There is no language model in it, so your calendar is never sent anywhere to be processed, the same week always produces the same plan. .
What happens to my data?
Increment is local-first, meaning your calendar data stays on your device and never gets sent anywhere. If you choose to sync Increment between multiple devices, then we store your calendar securely for the purpose of transferring it. Increment will never access or sell your calendar data.
How is this different from Motion, Reclaim or Sunsama?
Increment schedules tasks and goals in one place, runs in the browser with nothing to install, and costs £48 a year or £120 once — most of that group is priced per seat at several times that. It plans your own week rather than booking meetings between people, so if what you need is scheduling links and availability sharing, Calendly-style tools do that better. We keep a priced comparison of all of them, including the cases where Increment is the wrong answer.
Is there a free trial, and do I need a card?
14 days with everything switched on, and yes — the trial starts at the checkout, so it takes card details. If you would rather see it work before handing those over, the interactive demo is the real app on a ready-made week and asks for nothing at all.
What happens if I stop paying?
The calendar becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted and nothing is locked away — you keep seeing every event, task, goal and note, you simply cannot change them until the licence is renewed. The same thing happens if a licence check cannot reach the network for a week, so a bad connection never costs you access to your own week.
Can it read my existing calendar?
Connect an Outlook or Microsoft 365 calendar, or drop in an .ics export from any calendar including Google. Recurring events, exceptions and cancellations are all understood, and re-importing never duplicates anything, so an .ics can be re-dropped whenever the original changes.
Live two-way Google Calendar sync is built but not open yet: it is going through Google’s verification, and until that clears it runs only for a short list of testers. If continuous Google sync is the thing you need rather than import, that is worth knowing before you buy — tell us and we will let you know when it opens.
What if I don’t like the schedule it gives me?
Drag it, resize it, or pin it in place. Increment schedules around whatever you have fixed.
Does it work on Windows, Mac and Linux?
It runs in the browser, so yes — and on a phone. Nothing to download or install.
Can I use Increment across multiple devices?
Yes. Sign in and your calendar syncs across every device you use, and keeps working offline on each of them.
How does billing work?
Through Lemon Squeezy — any major card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
